As it celebrates four decades in the pottery heartland of Stoke-on-Trent, Emma Bridgewater has announced a meaningful new partnership with Dougie Mac Hospice, marking its 40th anniversary year by giving back to the community it has called home since 1985.

The iconic ceramics brand, which is also a certified B Corp, has become an official supporter of the much-loved Dougie Mac, a hospice serving adults, young adults and children living with life-limiting illnesses across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.

In a milestone year that also coincides with Stoke-on-Trent’s centenary, the company says it is proud to support a cause that is close to the hearts of so many local families and communities.

“Since May, we’ve focused all our fundraising efforts on supporting the hospice,” the company said in a post on LinkedIn. “We’re well on our way to raising a significant amount of much-needed funds to help sustain their vital work.”

Staff across the business have already shown strong commitment to the cause, taking part in the Dougie Mac Colour Run, celebrating Wear It Yellow Day, and organising a successful tombola at the recent Stoke 100 Tea Party—just some of the first initiatives in what will be a long-term partnership.

With more activities planned for the months ahead, Emma Bridgewater said it is “delighted to be supporting such an important and wonderful charity.”
