Exclusively Housewares show: sold out for 2016

Trade show Exclusively Housewares is sold out, with all 120 exhibitor spaces confirmed.

The exhibition, which marks its 15th year in June 2016, will run on Tuesday June 14 and Wednesday June 15 at the Business Design Centre in Islington, north London.

Companies new to Exclusively Housewares next year include Aydya, Boska Cheesewares, Ecoegg, Lurch, Luxury Housewares, My Gifts Trade, Plan B Marketing, Plasticforte, Ryland Peters & Small and World Kitchen.  They will be joined by Brita, Fairmont & Main, Sterck and Villeroy & Boch, who are making a return to exhibiting at the event.

Sister show Exclusively Electrical will run alongside again, following its successful launch in 2015.  Designed for retailers who sell, or are thinking of selling, small domestic appliances, the show will once again feature 25 kitchen and home appliance suppliers.

Brands include KitchenAid, Jura, Meyer, Magimix, Bugatti, Blendtec (EPE International), Groupe SEB, Witt, Salter, Beldray (Ultimate Products), Dualit, Vita-Mix, Team UKI, Tower and Smart Worldwide, plus new additions Arzum Elektrikl, Sage Appliances and Smartwares Europe.

Show operations director Simon Boyd said: “Exclusively Housewares was created as a level playing field for housewares suppliers to attend without the need to build and fund a large trade stand. Our original ‘shell scheme only’ and restricted stand sizes still operate today, and have become fundamental to the nature and style of the show – which remains very popular with suppliers and visitors alike.”

Both shows are run on behalf of the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA).  BHETA members, all of whom are suppliers, influence how the shows are run by providing details of any buying changes at UK companies and suggesting overseas visitors to invite along to the show.

BHETA housewares sector director Will Jones acts as chairman on the shows. He said: “The other key part of the original set up was that visitors should be restricted to bona fide buyers, who should be treated well. And the hospitality at Exclusively Housewares, with its free coffee and tea and free lunch, has always been second to none.

“The whole team is looking forward to another great summer show, with plenty of new ideas and products for our visitors to enjoy, plus some great Christmas bargains to add to their buying plans.”
