Housewares supplier Falcon Products has taken on UK distribution of Marcato pasta machines and accessories.
Falcon Products managing director Gary Downham said: “The agreement was reached immediately prior to Spring Fair, so it was an ideal opportunity to launch the brand at the show and allow our customers to appreciate the quality and choice of the Marcato brand at first hand.
He continued: “It’s a perfect match in many ways. Just like Falcon Products, Marcato is a family business dedicated to providing high quality product and exceptional service. First and foremost, Falcon Products is renowned for their Bake-O-Glide brand of non-stick reusable cooking liners and baking accessories, but our product offering has evolved over the years and Italian/pasta-related products form a growing part of our portfolio.
“Marcato fits in perfectly and especially complements our We Love Pasta brand, which is from another Italian family-run business that we’ve been distributing successfully for almost four years. It’s an exciting time for us and we are already looking forward to showcasing our complete Italian collection at Exclusively Housewares in June.”
Falcon Products is a family business supplying kitchenware, bakeware and housewares products to customers throughout the UK and overseas. Their own brands include Bake-O-Glide non-stick reusable cooking/oven liners and baking/icing mats, Gripo anti-slip mats; La Cuisine utensils and Truly Scrumptious cupcake cases. The company is also UK distributor for Spontex household cleaning products and for several European brands including We Love Pasta, Lit Gas and Marcato.
