After four days of judging, hundreds of entries into the Gift of the Year 2020 contest organised by the Giftware Association (GA) have been whittled into a shortlist.

GA said: “This is always an exciting day. And we’ve expanded the shortlists a little this year, which means more happy people! A number of the judges reported that they struggled to choose only a limited number of products, with more than one praising the creativity on display.

“Now, amazing gift products from all over the UK – and some from outside of it – are winging their way to GA HQ for the last stage of judging, taking place in January.”

The finalists will be announced on January 10, and the winners will be revealed during a special ceremony held at the Spring Fair, which takes place from February 2 to February 6 at Birmingham’s NEC.

The ultimate judges’ choice winner will receive a free stand at Autumn Fair and a year’s free subscription to PR agency Press Loft. All the other winners will receive a host of marketing material to promote their achievement and logos to display on their products.
