European housewares supplier Haus Marketing & Distribution recently invited several key retailers to a WÜSTHOF knives masterclass event hosted at the prestigious Cooks at Carlton Towers at Carlton in Yorkshire.
Under the guidance of Chef Lionel Strub, the guests had an opportunity to develop a range of professional culinary techniques and a greater understanding of the qualities of knives from the WÜSTHOF Classic range.
After a light lunch, the group was taken on a guided tour of the privately-owned property, home to Lord Gerald and Lady Emma (brother and sister-in-law of the Duke Of Norfolk, who was in residence at Carlton Towers during the visit).
Paul Shelley, managing director of Haus, said “Cooks at Carlton Towers is an exciting new cookery school venture and we are delighted to be a part of it.
