Horwood names new sales director

Horwood Homewares has appointed Rob Jones as its new sales director.

He succeeds Jeremy Horwood following his retirement after completing 40 years of service. Jeremy is the fourth generation member of the Horwood family.

Rob joins Horwood following a successful three-year period at German appliance manufacturer Miele, where he led the professional sales team and partner channels.

Prior to joining Miele, Rob held senior positions at Bayer, within independent and national retail and Dyson, within its commercial division.

He will join Horwood on Sunday February 5 on its stand at the Spring Fair in Birmingham.

The company said Rob is ‘looking forward to continuing the strong relationships that Horwood holds within the trade, and is excited to be working on brands that share such a rich heritage within the market.’
