'Hot Plate' launches at Autumn Fair

‘Hot Plate’ is a competition where exhibitors will pitch their latest kitchenware products to a panel of judges who will, in turn, offer their feedback on the new designs.

The panel includes ‘Housewares Magazine’ columnist Gary Gordon, joint managing director and buying director of southern cookshop chain Kitchen Kapers; Barry Woolston. owner of The Kitchen Shop at Lichfield in Staffordshire; and Paul Woolley, managing director of bira direct (British Independent Retailers Association).

Among those joining the line-up of exhibitors are Root 7 showcasing its latest barware product the Chillsner and the Salt Genie from Kitchen Concepts International.

The exhibitors will pitch their latest products, demonstrating the intricacies of design, features and application in the kitchen. The panellists will give their opinions on the products, considering design qualities and saleability within a housewares store.

The event takes place from 12pm to 1pm on Sunday August 1 at the CookLive! Theatre.
