Housewares Magazine’s annual charity sale of products entered for the Industry Awards hit a new record this year, with total takings of £2,200.

As usual, the money was divided between industry charity the Rainy Day Trust and a local charity close to Housewares’ office in Croydon; this year the chosen charity was the Selsdon Centre Trust.
Housewares’ group ad manager Rachael Pearson presented cheques for £1,100 each to Rainy Day Trust board member Simon Bicknell, and to Selsdon Centre Trust chairman David Moulton, together with centre manager Sheila Childs.
The Industry Awards and the charity sale are organised by Housewares Magazine and HousewaresLive.net together with sister publications DIY Week and Hardware & Garden Review.
