Imperial has triumphed in a business award scheme, winning two major accolades.
At the recent Leicestershire Business Awards the company walked away with the top award in the Enterprise Through Innovation category. Three nominees from each of the seven categories – 21 in all – were then eligible to win the overall Leicestershire Business of the Year Award, with Imperial gaining one of the top three places.
The Enterprise Through Innovation category recognises a business that has achieved significant growth in turnover and profits relative to its size, through innovation of products or services or an innovative approach to customers or business ethos.
Speaking about the Enterprise Through Innovation win, Imperial managing director Mo B’ham said: “We’re thrilled to win this award. As a company we pride ourselves on doing things differently and finding an angle people haven’t thought of, and this award recognises that.”
And commercial director John Newcomb added: “Winning the award for Enterprise Through Innovation is fantastic, but now to be judged one of the top three businesses in Leicestershire is magnificent. It reflects the company ethos and the incredible team that make up Imperial.”
The Leicestershire Business Awards aim to stimulate healthy competition between Leicestershire businesses, raise their aspirations, spread best practice and promote Leicestershire as a healthy and prosperous place to do business.
Imperial has been operating in Leicester for over 40 years.
