Best-selling novelist Jackie Collins has brought out a cookbook inspired by her popular fictional character Lucky Santangelo.
Published this month by Simon & Schuster, ‘The Lucky Santangelo Cookbook’ features ‘the kind of bold and audacious flavours’ that characterise the Italian/American heroine.
From meatballs to sweet and spicy spare ribs, the recipes are described as suitable for ‘everything from big family dinners to lavish cocktail parties to romantic dinners for two’. Many have featured in Jackie’s novels as celebration dishes, while others are inspired by her childhood in Britain and her life in California.
Jackie is one of the world’s top-selling novelists with over 500 million copies of her books sold in more than 40 countries, and 30 ‘New York Times’ bestsellers to her credit.
