Actress and Queen of Cakes Jane Asher made a guest appearance at two London stores on Saturday to promote her Home Cooking Collection.
Visitors arrived at Bentalls Living Kitchen in Kingston and at Fenwick Brent Cross to meet her, to ask about the collection and to obtain signed copies of her book.
“I really enjoyed going to Kingston and Brent Cross- it was great to have the chance to chat to some of the customers in Bentalls and Fenwick and to show them some of my bakeware and cookware. I always love meeting other keen bakers and it’s such a treat to see that I’m not the only person who gets enormous satisfaction from producing a home-made cake”, Asher commented.
The collection includes the Sprinkles design ceramic bakeware by Wade – mixing bowl, rolling pin, cake stand and glass dome, sugar dredger and more – and non-stick bakeware from More Than Group – roasting dish, cake pans, oven trays and loaf and muffin pans.
