Knife shopkeeper gets curfew for under-age sale

A Llandudno shopkeeper has had a curfew imposed on him as a result of selling a knife, reports Hardware Today.
The unnamed retailer was sentenced to the four-month curfew for illegally allowing a 15-year-old to buy a knife in his shop. The teenager was working as part of a trading standards sting.

The shopkeeper will have to stay in between 8pm and 8am for five days a week, for four months, says the magazine. He was also ordered to pay £763 in costs.
