La Cafetière promotes John Jackson to md

Jackson joined La Cafetière in June 2008 as national sales manager and was subsequently named sales & marketing director in 2010. This was quickly followed by a further promotion which widened his remit to international development.

Jackson’s appointment enables Lew Bingham, who was acting as managing director alongside his role as CEO of The Greenfield Group (of which La Cafetière is a key brand), to concentrate on building the group as a whole.

Bingham said: “John has made an invaluable contribution to the significant global expansion of our business – a strategy that has seen La Cafetière’s sales double in the last three years.

“His dynamic performance as our sales & marketing director made him the ideal candidate for the role of managing director, and this promotion is in recognition of his considerable talents and accomplishments in his previous position.”

After steering the post-acquisition integration of the Dutch Randwyck brand, Jackson will now be overseeing La Cafetière’s three business units in the UK, USA and the Netherlands.

Jackson is also current vice president and housewares sector chairman of BHETA.
