Lakeland’s Click & Collect service is now available in its 58 stores across the UK.
When shopping online, customers can now choose to collect their order in-store free of charge. “More often than not, you’ll be able collect your items on the very same day… great news for those who just can’t wait to receive all their lovely Lakeland goodies!” the company says.
The shopper places an order, selects the Click & Collect service as they checkout, and chooses which store they would like to collect from. Lakeland then sends an email or text to let them know when it’s available to pick up.
The housewares chain was a Silver Winner in The Housewares Retail Innovation Awards 2012, organised by www.HousewaresLive.net and Housewares Magazine.
