Former housewares retailer Martha Ferguson has joined Squires Kitchen as a buyer.

She will be working alongside managing director Beverley Dutton and her team to develop and grow Squires Kitchen’s range of own brand product and bought in lines.
Martha is the former owner and director of award-winning kitchenware store Papylon at Winchmore Hill in London, which shut on January 31 after three years of trading.
She told wwwHousewaresLive.net: “Beverley contacted me in February after reading about Papylon closing in the last edition of Housewares Magazine [January/February 2014]. We then met and connected instantly. The company appealed to me straightaway due to its specialist products, focus on quality, values and friendly, personal environment.
“My role enables me to return to product development, while continuing to also work with many of the great housewares suppliers I know already. When I made the decision to close Papylon I had a very fixed idea on what job I wanted – and it seems that Squires Kitchen ticks all the boxes!”
