Small appliances distributor Beam is to open a new, purpose-built distribution centre.
The company’s sales and administration offices will also move to the new centre, which is adjacent to the A14 and M11 in Cambridge.
Managing director David Speet told HousewaresLive.net that the move would ensure Beam continued to maintain high service levels for its customers and brand partners.
“This much larger building has been designed to incorporate the latest handling equipment, which will enable the business to achieve faster stock turnaround during continued growth,” he said.
The centre will become operational in early August. Beam’s telephone number, 01954 231616, will remain the same.
