Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson’s US hit show ‘The Taste’ is coming to the UK.
The prime time reality cookery show, which will be produced by CPL Productions for Channel 4, comprises 10 one-hour episodes.
The well-loved British cook and best-selling author will be joined by fellow judges, American chef Anthony Bourdain and French chef Ludo Lefebvre, who will mentor 12 contestants that will compete to become the ‘The Taste’s’ first British winner.
Each week, the contestants will battle it out to please the palates of the professionals with just one spoonful of food. All tastings are blind so the pressure is on to make one small, but perfect, serving.
‘The Taste’ is now looking for amateur and professional cooks to participate “who can deliver fantastic flavours and culinary flair”.
