Tonight (Thursday December 22) is the final of series nine of ‘MasterChef: The Professionals’.
The winning chef will be announced at the end of the show, which airs on BBC Two at 8pm, by presenter Gregg Wallace and judges Michelin-starred chef Marcus Wareing and celebrity chef Monica Galetti.
Over the last seven weeks, 48 of Britain’s most ambitious and determined chefs have put their reputations on the line to battle for the competition’s coveted title of MasterChef: The Professionals Champion 2016.
Now only the three best remain. Their challenge tonight is to cook the best three courses of their lives for the judges.
The broadcaster said: ‘In three hours they must bring together a starter, a main and a dessert, taking their culinary abilities to whole new level.
‘As the tension builds, they must use everything they have learned, all the inspiration they have gathered and all their talent and tenacity, to deliver flawlessly executed food, with mind-blowing flavours and stunning presentation.’
