Love Productions, the company behind ‘The Great British Bake Off’, is looking for a fresh batch of amateur bakers to take part in the ninth series of the hit Channel 4 show.
Applications close on Sunday (January 7) for candidates to compete for the 2018 Bake Off crown. Over the course of 10 hour-long episodes, the series will follow the contestants – young and old, from every background and every corner of Britain – as they attempt to prove their baking prowess. Each week the bakers tackle a different baking skill, which become progressively more difficult as the competition unfolds.
A post on Love Productions’ website asks: ‘Are you brilliant with brioche? Or marvellous with meringue? Then why not put your baking skills to the test! If you or someone you know, is ready to sieve the dream, then why not take a whisk and apply now at https://gbbo.take-part.co.uk/
