The organisers of next month’s Exclusively Housewares exhibition have revealed more details about the event’s Summer Party, which will be held on the first evening of the show.
Exclusively Housewares will take place on Tuesday 11 June and Wednesday 12 June at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.
Show director Simon Boyd said: “We are putting on a great night’s entertainment this year at Koko, the famous live venue on Camden High Street in North London.
“We have two leading UK comedians and live party band MadHen arranged for our guests, who of course will be well looked after, with food and drink provided.”
The evening, which starts at 7.30pm, will be compered by comedian Hal Cruttenden, who has appeared on stand-up shows ‘Live at the Apollo’ and ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, and can frequently be heard on the radio.
Hal will introduce main act Miles Jupp: an actor, comedian and writer who is currently appearing in the Alan Bennett play ‘People’, at the National Theatre.
The live band will then take over the stage and will be followed by a disco. The party will finish at 12.30am, with coaches returning to the key show hotels.
