A new cookbook by Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood has stormed into the Best Sellers list for non-fiction hardback books.

Paul’s book, ‘How To Bake’, was published by Bloomsbury on July 5. In it, the star of the BBC2’s hit show (which returns to our screens next month), reveals all the secrets of his artisan baking craft, with recipes for breads, pastries, cakes and biscuits.
‘How To Bake’ takes third place for the week ending July 8 in Nielsen Bookscan TCM’s weekly bestseller chart for the UK, which collates real time sales from over 6,500 retailers representing over 90% of the UK book market.
The number one spot in the chart is held by Gok Wan. Total sales of the style guru’s ‘Gok Cooks Chinese’ book on Chinese cooking have reached 69,499 to date. Two other cookbooks appear in the top 10: ‘Jamie’s 30-Minute Meals’ by Jamie Oliver at number nine and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s ‘River Cottage Veg Every Day!’ at number 10. The list appeared in the July 15 issue of ‘The Mail on Sunday’.
In a recent interview with ‘The Mail on Sunday’, Paul revealed his favourite kitchen gadgets are a KitchenAid food processor and a Kenwood kMix; “and I like test driving both,” he said. “It’s like taking a car out for a spin.”
