Members of Which?’s independent testing panel commented on how evenly the toaster browned the bread, even from frozen, and that it was very easy to use. They also liked the fact that it costs just £25, making it exceptional value for money, and that it has a matching kettle.

Prestige will now be making Which? Best Buy stickers available for retailers to use on-pack.

The toaster has two deep variable-width toasting slots, as well as a high-lift facility and easily removable crumb tray. It offers auto pop-up and variable browning control as well as defrost and mid-cycle cancel buttons.

Both toaster and kettle are available in blue or red.
