Tesco is set to open a new Homeplus store in Preston.
The 35,000sq ft unit, with mezzanine level, is in the town’s Capitol retail park, where it will be an anchor store. Tesco currently has seven Homeplus outlets.
Tesco’s annual UK non-food sales are worth over £6b, and the retailer’s like-for-like non-food growth is around twice that of food.
