The exhibition, which is currently being held at Kensington Olympia until May 12, comprises five sections: Launchpad, Living, Fashion, Trends and Shop Talk.

Clarion Events said ‘buyers flocked to Pulse to source thousands of never seen before products from hundreds of cutting-edge and exclusive brands’.

At today’s show, presentations will be given by high profile speakers including Rosie Wolfenden MBE, founder of iconic fashion label Tatty Devine; Liz Sylvester from the hit Channel 4 show ‘Liberty of London’ and head of visual identity at Liberty, and Katie Law, design writer from London newspaper the Evening Standard.

New for 2015 is Design Finland, described as ‘an inspiring collective of cutting-edge Finnish designers’, making their debut at Pulse. Design Finland is located on the International Design pavilion, right at the entrance of Pulse. Examples include Verso Design, which offers home furnishings and interior design products including the Happy Kitchen collection made of linen/cotton; and Hukka Design, which manufactures and markets cooking and gift products made of soapstone.

Also new is Hothouse Hungary: a collection of designers from Hungary, also located on the International Design pavilion. Examples vidonori (designer Nori Vido has a passion for cooking and has created her first concrete plate collection).
