RKW appoints new area sales manager

Housewares distributor RKW has named Donna Lima as its new area sales manager for the East Anglia region.

RKW sales director Mark Lobar said: “Donna has over six years’ experience in the industry, servicing a wide range of clients, from independents to multiples, and has a solid understanding of both retailers’ needs and the portfolio of leading brands distributed by RKW.”

David Warren, who is gifts, lighting and kitchenware buyer of Glasswells, the largest independent department store in East Anglia, commented: “Donna is always a pleasure to work with. She’s enthusiastic and self-motivated, and has always responded to my queries in a prompt and practical way. She’s professional, easy to get on with and connects very well with our staff.”

RKW distributes more than 3,000 product lines and holds £20 million of stock. Major brands owned by RKW include Tower, Natural Life, Akai, Carmen, Pifco, Elgento, Teknique, Itek and Warmlite/Warmnite. The company also licenses the Morphy Richards brand for cookware and housewares.

Donna will also have access to major SDA brands including Breville, Russell Hobbs, KitchenAid, George Foreman and Swan, plus Numatic and Vax floorcare products, as well as personal care products such as Babyliss and Remington.
