Rosebys closes 24 more shops

Administrators of the Rosebys group of companies have closed a further 24 of the home textile retail chain’s outlets, making 144 people redundant.
Joint administrator Howard Smith, from KPMG Restructuring, said it was “disappointing but unavoidable to be continuing to close stores, resulting in redundancies. However, discussions regarding a going concern sale are proceeding satisfactorily and the majority of outlets, 183, are still trading.”

A total of 97 outlets have now closed.
