Royal VKB impresses on Junior Apprentice

Products from Royal VKB enjoyed prime-time television publicity last night when they appeared in episode five of BBC1’s popular Junior Apprentice series.

Royal VKB impresses on Junior Apprentice

Two of the Dutch design house’s designs were chosen by the young candidates to present to top retailers in the UK: Mood Flame silicone tealights and iD Cutlery – individually-boxed place settings featuring quirky, one-off designs.

Apprentice supremo Lord Sugar and his advisors were critical of the candidates’ lack of knowledge on pricing and of their presentation skills. Despite these flaws, however, the winning team sold thousands of pounds’ worth of stock to top UK buyers, impressing them with the Royal VKB designs.

Royal VKB is distributed in the UK by 95% – which had been presenting the products earlier in the day to a somewhat smaller audience at Exclusively Housewares.

The final of Junior Apprentice is on BBC1 tonight at 9pm.
