Robbie Feather, business unit director at supermarket chain Sainsbury’s, is the principle retail guest speaker at the next Housewares Forum held by BHETA (British Home Enhancement Trade Association).

He will share his views on challenges and opportunities in the current market, provide an update on Sainsbury’s cookshop development plans, and discuss the importance of a credible non-food offer in the grocery sector.
The event, which will be held for all members on Wednesday November 20 at BHETA’s headquarters in Birmingham, will also include a presentation from retail development consultant
Jenny Spivey, who has a wealth of market knowledge and experience principally gained during her recent time with John Lewis, where she fulfilled senior buying roles across several high profile product categories. Jenny will disclose some of her experiences and give an insight into what it takes to truly develop a successful supplier retailer partnership.
Following feedback from a number of exhibitors at this year’s Autumn Fair, portfolio director Nick Davison of show organiser i2i Events Group will give details of development plans for Autumn Fair 2014.
Finally Hannah Dedman, publishing director of Datateam Business Media, will talk about her company’s recent acquisition of a number of well-known and established titles from Faversham House Group – including Housewares Magazine and its sister website www.HousewaresLive.net – and outline future strategic direction.
She will also update the audience on the Housewares Conference & Innovation Awards, which is being held on March 26 2014.
