‘Save with Jamie’ holds number one spot

Jamie Oliver is still at the top of ‘The Mail on Sunday’s’ chart of best-selling non-fiction hardbacks, with his latest cookery title.

The book ties in with his six-part Channel 4 TV series called ‘Jamie’s Money Saving Meals’, which is currently being repeated at 12.35pm on Fridays.

Fifth place in the book parade is taken by Tom Kerridge’s ‘Proper Pub Food’, with ‘Eat – The Little Book Of Fast Food’ by Nigel Slater, in sixth position.

Gino D’Acampo is at number ten with ‘Gino’s Italian Escape,’ which ties in with his six-part ITV 1 series of the same name. The final episode airs at 8pm on Friday.

This book chart is complied by Nielsen Bookscan TCM, which collates from over 6,500 outlets representing over 90% of retail book purchases in UK. It appeared in the October 20 issue of ‘The Mail On Sunday’s’ ‘Event’ magazine.
