Just in time for the new Great British Bake Off TVseries whch kicks off next week, appliance manufacturer Smeg is encouraging consumers to get into the mood for baking by extending the warranty on its SMF01 stand mixer from three to five years.
From now until September 30, Smeg is offering its customers an exclusive five year warranty on its stand mixer. During the promotional period customers will be invited to extend their warranty from three to five years by filling out the product registration form and submitting it within 28 days of purchase.
Smeg brand manager John Davies said: “At Smeg we are passionate about baking and as such we are delighted to have seen a resurgence in baking across the UK in the last few years. We know this is a key time for the very discerning baking community. Smeg customers have come to expect style and performance from our entire range of appliances and we are pleased to be able to offer the added reassurance which comes with an extended five year warranty, until the end of September.”
Crafted with a die-cast aluminium body and a 4.8 litre capacity high polished stainless steel bowl, the SMF01 stand mixer features an 800W direct drive motor with full metal gears. It also comes with a safety lock when the mixing head is tilted up, a 10 speed variable control, centrally positioned lever and opening button, planetary action, overload motor protection and anti-slip feet. The appliance also comes with a stainless steel wire whisk, aluminium flat beater, aluminium dough hook, and plastic bowl cover as standard.
Smeg offers customers a recipe book, featuring six stand mixer recipes with full instructions. It is available in cream, black, red, silver and pastel blue shades.
