Appliance manufacturer Smeg UK scooped an award last week for Best Advertising Campaign – Small Domestic Appliances.

Smeg UK’s brand manager John Davies and retail channel director Paul Barker received the award for the company’s SDA Christmas Advertising Campaign at a ceremony held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London on Thursday March 12, organised by Housewares Magazine’s sister title IER [Innovative Electrical Retailing].
The winning advert features Smeg’s SMF01 stand mixer in festive red on a bed of cupcakes, each hand-decorated with a Christmassy design.
John Davies said: “At Smeg we continue to push the boundaries design-wise with our iconic products and strive to ensure our marketing material perfectly reflects this. We’re delighted that our creativity has been recognised with this top industry award for our Christmas stand mixer advert.”
Designed and launched in Milan and the result of over three years’ development, Smeg’s small domestic appliance collection also includes the KLF01 kettle, TSF01 two-slice toaster, TSF02 four-slice toaster, which was recently awarded a Which? Best Buy, and BLF01 blender. All come in a variety of colours and complement Smeg’s larger appliances.
