Spring Fair freezes rates and cuts costs

Emap Connect’s appointment of Melville Exhibition and Event Services as its preferred contractor for all UK shows will also further reduce the cost of exhibiting, says the company. It says the move will help exhibitors see greater return on investment by offering savings as well as enhanced levels of service.

Effective from April 2010, the savings and service initiatives will include a cost reduction to all exhibitors of 10% in electrical fittings and mains (at today’s prices), the introduction of early-bird discounts for all shell accessories and an exhibitor loyalty/discount card.

Bookings for Spring Fair 2010 are running at last year’s level, which Emap Connect describes as “very encouraging”.

Spring Fair runs at Birmingham’s NEC from February 7 to 11 2010.
