Squire’s celebrates its 80th anniversary

To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Squire’s Garden Centres has donated plants to make a special flowerbed at its local park in Surrey.

The plants are from Squire’s own 80th Celebration Collection: a range of its favourite plants over the last 80 years,

Squire’s head office is just a few minutes away from the Gostrey Meadow Park in Farnham. Deputy chairman Sarah Squire commented: “I would like to thank Kevin Taitt and his team at Farnham Town Council for giving us the opportunity to have a flowerbed in Gostrey Meadow to celebrate Squire’s 80th anniversary.

“We chose plants from Squire’s ‘80th Celebration Collection – which include favourites such as roses, geraniums and lavender – so, as well as beautiful colours, the flowerbed should have a wonderful scent too. The plants were expertly planted up by Kevin and his team.

“Gostrey Meadow is a lovely space for local people to enjoy, and I hope that they enjoy the flowers in the Squire’s flowerbed for a long time to come.”

Squire’s Garden Centres is a family-owned horticultural business that operates 15 centres across Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, Middlesex, north and west London.
