Tefal launches ‘ground-breaking’ marketing campaign

Tefal has launched a ‘ground-breaking’ marketing campaign which aims to educate consumers on the ‘many uses and versatility’ of the garment steamers category.

The company said: ‘In a first for Tefal, we’ve taken a unique and attention-grabbing angle to hit our target audience, in the form of animated characters depicting why garment steamers are important to our modern day society. Running from August 1 for six weeks, this campaign will totally energise this market with very strong presence both online and offline.’

Groupe SEB marketing manager Caroline Ross said: “With the growing trend for non-iron textiles and more casual attire comes a new generation of ‘iron avoiders’ who would rather go out wearing creased clothing than buy an iron.

“So, we’ve developed a new range of garment care solutions to provide a just-in-time steaming solution for every type of user – from the non-ironers and inexperienced users, right through to demanding carers looking for an efficient way to smooth out garments. What’s more, our solutions sanitize as they steam, leaving clothes bacteria free – no ironing board or dry-cleaner needed! We’re going to help consumers discover (and remember) that Tefal garment steamers are just what they need.”
