Tefal partners with Europe's largest cookery school

Tefal has partnered with Europe’s largest cookery school, L’atelier des Chefs, to equip its UK mobile events with Ingenio cookware throughout the year.

Since 2009, L’atelier des Chefs has been running interactive cooking events for all occasions and budgets in its central London venues. In 2013, it hosted over 600 events in its venues and on the road.

Jennika Kalliala, senior product manager for high-end cookware at Groupe SEB, said: “We are delighted that Tefal Ingenio cookware has been selected to be the official 2015 partner for L’atelier des Chefs mobile events. This will considerably increase the exposure of this innovative cookware range through a large number of high profile events.”

Launched in July 2013, the Tefal Ingenio concept is built around handles that attach and detach with one click, allowing the user to save space when cooking or storing, and to maximise the use of the cookware through versatility. The feature enables the user to transfer cooking from the hob to the oven and then direct to the table – all in the same dish.

Group SEB says the Ingenio range ‘fits easily into the oven and thanks to its removable handle, it’s not restricted by oven temperatures as much as traditional cookware, so each item doubles as an oven dish. It’s also suitable for dishes that are fried on the hob and then finished off in the oven’.
