Taylors Eye Witness signs up as Rainy Day Trust partner

Alastair Fisher, director of Taylors Eye Witness, said: “We have been aware for quite some time of the extremely good work that the Rainy Day Trust does for people in our industry who have had a bit of bad luck or ill health. And it seemed like the least we could do to step up and support the Trust’s work.”

Taylors Eye Witness is one of the oldest-established companies in the housewares market. It was founded by John Taylor in the early 19th century to make kitchen knives, pocket knives, scissors and sharpeners, and the ‘Eye Witness’ trademark was first registered in 1838.

The Rainy Day Trust provides financial and other support for everyone working in or who has worked in the home improvement and housewares industry in any capacity, and who now finds that they need a helping hand.
