The David Shuttle cookshop in Beaconsfield took the main prize in the contest, which sought the best in-store or window display of the Union Jack-themed collection amongst independent retailers.

“In fact, we had some fantastic entries and it was very hard to choose, so we’ve decided to have a runners-up prize as well, and this is being awarded to Vintage & White in Baschurch, Shropshire,” T&G’s head of marketing Jenny Handley told HousewaresLive.net.

A bottle of champagne is being sent to David Shuttle Cookshop and T&G area sales manager Jake Watson, while Vintage & White and area sales manager Wendy Rust will each get a box of chocolates.

The Street Party collection is the perfect complement to Friday’s celebrations, with products including a teapot, jug, plates and dishes, mug, cake stand, sugar/jam pot, canister, egg cup and salt and pepper shakers.
