The Cake & Bake Show – billed as the first experiential event dedicated to baking and cake decorating fanatics – attracted more than 30,000 visitors to last year’s London show, and will be returning once again to the capital this autumn.
The Autumn event, which takes place from October 3 to October 5 at Earls Court, follows on from the success received at the show in Manchester last March. It will include celebrity demos, live bake offs, cake competitions, interactive features, classes and workshops, plus artisan produce, supplies and equipment.
A special feature is The California Prunes’ Competition Theatre where, for the first time, all four winners of the BBC’s hit TV series ‘The Great British Bake Off’ – Edd Kimber (2010) Jo Wheatley (2011) John Whaite (2012) and Frances Quinn (2013) – will compete against each other. Star judge from ITV’s ‘Britain’s Best Bakery’ Peter Sidwell will also be on stage, giving visitors the chance to join him on stage to put their own baking skills to the test.
The headline sponsor is Nielsen-Massey and the event sponsors are Neff, California Prunes, Renshaw and Cake Boss. Exhibitors include Alison Appleton British Ceramic Design Studio, Baker & Maker, Cake Stands by Hannah Elizabeth, Fantastic Ribbons, Cake Tin Smith, Bamix, Culpitt, Falcon Products, Magic Knife and Renshaw.
