The Housewares Show is preparing to open its doors to all independent retailers once again next month.
Hosted by independent buying group AIS (Associated Independent Stores), the two-day event will be open to AIS members only on August 13 and then open to all independent retail buyers on August 14. It will take place in the showroom of AIS’ Cranmore Park Exhibitor Centre at Solihull in the West Midlands.
With product categories including Cookshop, Tabletop, SDA, Home Fragrance, Glassware & Gifts, the show will exhibit products from an extensive brand list.
Dedicated trend areas scattered across the showroom will highlight key themes which have influenced this season’s product selection, including eco-friendly products.
AIS homewares controller Deborah Goulthorpe commented: “Consumers are driving the change for more eco-friendly items and many of our key suppliers have not disappointed with their ranges, offering alternatives to single-use bottles, cups, clingfilm and plastic chopping boards, as well as innovative and sustainable products.”
Visitors can explore ranges from brands such as Royal Doulton, Denby, Stellar, Smidge, De’Longhi, Salter, Samsung and Wax Lyrical. The show will also welcome new suppliers including Princess, JWP, The Art Group and PHA KitchEssentials.
