The Inspired Home Show reveals keynote speakers

The keynote sessions of The Inspired Home Show, which takes place from March 14 to March 17 at McCormick Place in Chicago, will offer ‘expert updates on key industry, consumer and lifestyle trends’, according to the exhibition’s organiser International Housewares Association (IHA).

New this year is MarketWatch, billed as ‘IHA’s look into marketplace dynamics and emerging trends that will drive the industry forward’. IHA will reveal its new State of the Industry Report, featuring data and analysis on supplier, industry and consumer trends, and offering insights for the global home and housewares market over the next 12 to 24 months.

Lee Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, will give two presentations. On Monday March 16 she will reveal Pantone’s 2021 colour palettes in a highly visual programme that will demonstrate the strongest trends in colour and styling families. On Tuesday March 17, she will delve further into the philosophy of colour and how it affects retail and consumers’ purchasing habits.

Tom Mirabile, co-founder & principal of Springboard Insights and IHA’s consumer trend forecaster, will also deliver a presentation exploring the consumer and retail shifts that are reshaping the home and housewares industry.
