International Housewares Association (IHA), which owns and operates the Show, said: ‘The retail landscape is changing rapidly and all stores – whether mass, specialty, independent, gift or some combination of these – are looking for ways to evolve, compete and win in this new economy.
‘We recognise the unique challenges – and opportunities – that come with being an independent retailer of home goods in 2020. So, in addition to developing attractions and programming for independent retailers during the four days of The Inspired Home Show (formerly the International Home + Housewares Show), will be holding a half-day educational and networking event that focuses exclusively on how to succeed as an independent retailer in today’s market.’
This free session will be held the day before the Show opens on Friday March 13 in the Vista Ballroom (S406a, South Building).
