Royal VKB has scored a hat-trick in the Red Dot design awards for three innovative kitchen and home products.
The Red Dot for high design quality went to both the Funnel Friends set and the Boomerang wok.
The first is a set of products that combine a funnel with a container and which can be used for transferring large or small quantities of liquids, spices, cereals, etc. The three products fit neatly together for easy storage.
The Red Dot judges were also impressed with the Boomerang wok. Its unique, patented cupped edge and shape is designed to make stir frying easier than in a traditional wok, allowing ingredients to be turned with a simple movement of a spatula. No lifting is required, and the ingredients always end up back in the pan.
The third Royal VKB winner was the silicone Elas candle holder, which took the title Red Dot: Best of the Best – awarded to the very highest design quality. The product ingeniously does away with the need to cut candles to size, having a flexible opening which allows you to insert a candle of any diameter into the holder and be guaranteed that it will stand upright.
