Top Drawer launches ‘Meet The Maker’ feature for 2022 show

Leading s design-led trade show Top Drawer has launched its new Meet the Maker feature, designed to put a spotlight on businesses across all sectors as they demonstrate how their best-selling products are made. Visitors can discover their creative processes from start to finish as the participants showcase their talents and expertise.

The show takes place at Olympia London on 20-22 February.

Jimbob Art

Founder James creates original illustrations on ceramics, homeware, clothing and artwork, inspired by his love for drawing animals and birds. Join Jimbob Art for the first session of the day where they will be giving us an exciting demonstration of how they illustrate their plates.

Keith Brymer Jones

Not only is Keith Brymer Jones a potter, but also a BBC Two Presenter & Head of Design at MAKE International. His design philosophy is a simple one; “I like to create stylish yet simple products that are pleasing to the eye and, above all, practical in the modern home and make people happy! For me, less is more!” Legendary ceramicist Keith Brymer Jones will be joining us to talk through his relationship with clay and the processes he uses to make his signature products.

For their session Pegg Furniture will be talking through how traditional pegged wooden joints are used to help solve some contemporary furniture challenges plus how wood is a good sustainable material choice.

Two sisters who design beautiful homewares, clothing and accessories that are made by artisans in India using traditional crafts such as weaving, block printing and embroidery. At Top Drawer, Faro Home team will be demonstrating how they do their block print process as well as how their paper mâché is made.
