Tradestock enters licensing partnership with Transport for London

Somerset-based housewares supplier Tradestock has entered into a licensing agreement with Transport for London.

The first designs to come from this new partnership – FreeForm trays featuring two versions of the London Underground Map – were launched to the British retail trade at the Exclusively Housewares show in London in June, only days after the agreement was reached.

“We are delighted to have this new partnership with Transport for London,” said Tradestock md Keith Nye. “Initial reaction to these universally recognised designs, which look striking against a crisp white background, was fabulous – and certainly whetted the appetite of buyers looking for something stylishly different at the show.”

He added that looking ahead, the Tradestock design team are “already relishing the prospect of developing the Transport for London kitchen and tabletop collection further, having the opportunity to pool designs from a very rich and exciting heritage”.
