Turner Prize winner joins Top Drawer show

Top Drawer has announced that Assemble, the winner of this year’s contemporary visual art award The Turner Prize, is joining the London trade show’s new talent hub ‘Spotted’ in January.

Assemble is a London-based collective that works across the fields of architecture, design and art to create projects in tandem with the communities who use and inhabit them. It was nominated for projects including its ongoing collaboration with local residents and others in the Granby Four Streets, Liverpool.

This year Assemble became the first design practice ever to win the Turner Prize in the UK. The £25,000 prize was presented during a live broadcast on Channel 4 on December 7.

Top Drawer will present a cross-section of products across its sectors of Home, Gift, Fashion and Craft. More than 1,000 exhibitors will showcase Interior Accessories, Kitchen & Dining, Furniture & Lighting, Outdoor Living, Stationery & Greetings, Wellbeing, Children’s, Fashion Accessories and Jewellery at the event, which runs from January 17-19 at London Olympia.
