T&G has declared Twycross Zoo in Warwickshire the winner of its Diamond Jubilee Street Party window/display competition.
The zoo takes the first prize of flowers, champagne and chocolates for the team, which created a patriotic display of T&G’s red, white and blue Street Party collection styled with Union Jack cushions and jolly bunting.
Second prize went to Frankie & Johnny’s Cookshop in York, where the team will also enjoy champagne and chocolate truffles.
T&G’s head of marketing, Jenny Handley, told HousewaresLive.net this morning: “We had a great response, with over 40 entries. The competition ran from May 15 and closed on Monday May 28, with the judging taking place yesterday. We had a panel of 16 judges looking at all the displays sent in. It was really hard to choose as you could see that so much effort had been put in.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who entered, they were all just brilliant!” she added.
