Typhoon is building on its commitment to quality control and supply chain management with the appointment of Hector Hui as head of quality control.
Based in the new Typhoon distribution centre in Shenzhen, he will manage a team of quality control inspectors and develop production and manufacturing techniques to improve quality and availability of Typhoon products across its ranges.
Hui joins the team with over 30 years’ experience in sourcing and supply chain management in homewares. In fact, he was involved at Typhoon’s conception, sourcing factories and running the Hong Kong office of the company’s former brand Taylor & Ng in the early 1980s.
