‘Unleash creativity’ for Pyrex National Baking Week

Pyrex is encouraging the nation’s home bakers to ‘unleash creativity’ and showcase their star bakes this October.

The housewares supplier is the brand behind National Baking Week 2017, which runs from Monday October 16 to Sunday October 22.

Pyrex founded the initiative in 2007 with like-minded baking brands. The aim of the campaign is to encourage people to bake at home.

The company said: ‘There’s no better feeling than presenting a freshly baked creation to your family and friends. So why not don your apron and oven gloves to get involved?’

Pyrex has curated the best of its home baking recipes at pyrexuk.com, from savoury options such as gluten free cheese biscuits, to nature-friendly fairy cakes and Nutella banana muffins with salted caramel.

The website says: ‘With recipe ideas for all levels of expertise, and ways for little hands to get involved, you are sure to find something to bake and enjoy, whether you are a beginner or expert. Why not try different flavours, ingredients and learn a new skill? Or even get inspired and develop your own recipe.’

Home bakers are being encouraged to share their creations with Pyrex and other budding bakers at #unleashcreativity.
