‘Upgrade’ bonus package for Tendence

Buyers from companies with up to 10 employees active in the gifts and furnishing sector, as well as the glass, porcelain and ceramic trade, can benefit from free admission to Tendence and an invitation to its Upgrade Area.

Held from August 24-28 in Frankfurt, show organiser Messe Frankfurt describes Tendence as the most important consumer-goods fair in the second half of the year for the home and gift sectors, enabling targeted ordering for the autumn, winter and Christmas seasons with an eye on spring and summer 2013.

The Upgrade Area in Hall 9.2 offers a host of benefits. For example, Upgrade Exhibitor Partners take part solely in Tendence and exhibit at no regional fairs, so buyers can place their orders with them exclusively in Frankfurt.

The Area is also described as ‘the ideal place for visitors wanting to network with colleagues or take a break from the hustle and bustle of the fair’. There, they will also not only find information about show highlights but can also attend lectures.

On August 25 a lecture entitled ‘The gia – exemplary visual merchandising from all around the world’, will be given by visual merchandising expert Wolfgang Gruschwitz, who is a member of the jury for the annual Global Innovation Awards (gia) programme.

Trade buyers can register online now on the Messe Frankfurt website at www.upgrade-lifestyle.messefrankfurt.com. Before the fair, all participants will be sent a starter package with admission ticket and voucher booklet of exhibitor offers.

Last year’s show attracted a total of 52,000 trade visitors from more than 100 countries, who checked out the wares of more than 2,000 exhibitors from 67 countries. Products were showcased in two main sections – Giving (giftware, jewellery, stationery, arts & crafts) and Living (furniture, homeware and furnishing accessories) – that occupied the entire western section of Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre: 130,000sq m of space across nine halls.

Tendence is the sister show to Ambiente, billed as the world’s leading consumer goods fair. Also held in Frankfurt, it next takes place from February 15-19 2013.
