From today, a closer collaboration between John Lewis and Waitrose will see thousands of kitchen and homewares available online from the new Waitrose Homeshop at waitrose.com.

The move is the result of the two trading divisions of the John Lewis Partnership entering into a commercial arrangement to work together more closely in the future.

Customers can opt to have the goods delivered to their home or to “click and collect” from their local Waitrose branch. There are also plans to incorporate the same John Lewis products in new, extended Waitrose branches.

The Homeshop offer includes cookware, bakeware, knives, general kitchenware, storageware, small appliances and tabletop.

Waitrose managing director Mark Price commented: “Working in collaboration with John Lewis and having their products as part of our range will strengthen Waitrose’s presence on the high street even more, and will give us a real opportunity to rival our four main competitors with an exceptional non-food offer which will be unmatched.”

John Lewis and Waitrose are the country’s favourite retail brands.
